| Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis System
is designed for very fast and clear separation of
DNA restriction fragments in agarose gels. This
system allows the user to cast quickly, run and
perform Southern or Northern blots of high quality
by using 109x60 mm, 54x60 mm agarose gel. Constructed
of sturdy PC, this economical, easy-to-use unit
features a unique casting gel system. This system
contains two sets of the gel casting trays with
two tray sizes, and allows casting of 6 individual
agarose gels at one time with a temperature capacity
of 130°C.
Set-up is virtually effortless, just pour your
gel in the casting system. The gel apparatus does
not require tape, clamps or springs. The Gel Electrophoresis
System offers many additional features for superior
gel performance. The tray contains a migration
distance (please see fig 1) index line, agarose
level (4 mm) for reference and black well-visualization
strip aligned with comb positions for simple loading.
Two trays can also be connected (Figure 2) with
each other. |
